FOR-A Booth 822, Javits Center, 24 – 26 October: SipRadius is partnering with FOR-A to present a transformative approach to IP content transport and monitoring at NAB New York. SOAR-A, powered by SipRadius, is a high quality, very secure and ultra-low latency media processing and delivery platform.
This revolutionary solution is the world’s first implementation of realtime AV1 over WebRTC for optimized playback on any device. Illustrating the platform’s flexibility, it will also be shown carrying lossless, multi-bitrate realtime JPEG-XS streams and AV1 production encoding.
SOAR-A is a flexible approach to the IP world from FOR-A. For its encoding and transport offerings it has worked with leading media specialists SipRadius, which provides the powerful operating system and applications. Built on SipRadius’s CoralOS, software includes a transcoding engine, error correcting transport and a standalone media server.
Applications for SOAR-A, powered by SipRadius, include ultra-low latency WebRTC streaming, highly scalable streaming, and live monitoring and surveillance, as well as production content delivery. Users include broadcast, streaming, gaming, education, movies, sports and houses of worship.
The SipRadius software is drawn from its proven Coral Gateway system, already in use with major broadcasters and content providers. It is built on open standards, including RIST: Sergio Ammirata, the company’s chief scientist, was one of the leaders in the original development and continuing enhancement of the RIST protocol. Also inherent in the CoralOS operating system is military-grade, security and encryption, ensuring all content is protected at every stage.
