“Rise of the Drones: A DMV’s Producer’s Panel for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)”
Exploring the use of drone technology for aerial cinematography and other emerging markets, TIVA’s Government Video Expo/National Drone Show session will feature expert panelists including:
Brian J. Kelly: Director/Producer/Writer, Single Malt Media
FAA 333 exemption approved and a UAS certified operator for motion picture and television production. Brian is an award winning director of hundreds of commercials, documentary films and nonfiction television shows for NBC, Discovery Channel, TLC, Military Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, Travel Channel, A&E, National Geographic, PBS, HGTV, and more. Over the past 10 years, Single Malt Media has become widely recognized for its pioneering efforts in the use of UAS technology.
Guy Noffsinger: Video Director/Producer, First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet)
Guy also serves as the chief creative officer for Arx Pax, and previously worked in the NASA Office of Communications as a senior producer/media specialist.
Nils Granholm: Co-Founder, CAVUS Media LLC
A UAS operator and producer/director for various government agencies such as U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customer and Border Protection, Nils also creates promotional videos, corporate videos, web videos, and provides full-service productions.
Christopher Vo, Ph.D: Drone and Robotics Program Manager, AES Corporation
At AES Corporation, Christopher leveraging emerging technology including drones and robotics to improve safety, efficiency, performance, and the lives of people in the organization and in the communities they serve energy to. He also serves as the president of the DC Area Drone User Group.
