Blackmagic Design used these one-day events, July 25 in Los Angeles and August 8 in New York City, to showcase their new hardware and software products. The Blackmagic Design theatre was used to present DaVinci Resolve 10, Autodesk Smoke 2013, Apple FCP X, and Avid Media Composer 7.
All of these applications can take advantage of high storage speeds provided by ExaSAN.
Accusys was invited to the event to showcase the ExaSAN line of PCIe based switches and storage, as 1 of only 6 hardware partners invited to participate. With Resolve 10, Blackmagic Design is tightening up certification of hardware partners, and Accusys products ExaSAN A12S2 and the B08S2 will be included in the certified storage list for Resolve 10.
