Tampa Aerial Photographer Lauches New Aerial Video Services

Tampa Aerial Photography Services offer new drone, “Air Tampa One.” provides Videographers and Photographers in the Tampa Bay Area for 20 years now, and it is very exciting that they offer a new dimension to their services. They have been keeping their eye on the technology of unmanned aerial vehicles, which has only within the last 5 months now arrived to the point where they believe all the kinks have been worked out. Their drone will provide amazing aerial footage for Real Estate, Weddings, or Sports videos. Imagine walking down the aisle, and on the video, you see an overhead shot as well as the ground level shots… incredible.

They often have put cameras up high for weddings at some venues, such as the Grand Plaza, where they put a camera in the Presidential Ballroom on the 9th floor, shooting down on the beach ceremony. Now with the drone, they are not limited to just a nearby tall building or balcony; they can have it hover anywhere they want. You say, what if it crashes onto the bride or guests? Although nothing is impossible, that is highly unlikely. The drone has a built-in feature where it will land exactly where it takes off. What about the noise?, yes it does make a little noise, but more quiet than what you might think, and the noise level can be alleviated by hovering at a higher altitude. they can easily fly up to 2,000 feet, although FAA restricts it for many areas to be up to 400 feet. As you can see in this picture (right) they are well above the Marriott Waterside (326ft), and could have easily flown much higher. We have always attempted to make their wedding videos like a movie (cinematic). Many movies will open up with an aerial shot while showing credits (Forrest Gump, Sleepless In Seattle, You got Mail), which I have always loved. Now with the aerial footage, we can open a wedding video in the same dramatic style. I remember Brighthouse Cable used to show aerial shots of the Tampa Bay Area on their “Tampa Bay Online” channel, and how mesmerized I was by those shots. Now we can get those shots and the footage is actually much better, with the gimbal technology that keeps an amazing steady footage. The picture quality is amazingly sharp. We use a GoPro Hero 3 plus which can shoot in 4k & 2.7k, which is the highest resolution possible.
