MIAMI — Nov. 18, 2020 — Primestream, a leading provider of asset management and automation software solutions for media production, announced today that its multiple-award-winning Xchange™ media asset management and production asset management (MAM/PAM) platform has been integrated with Blackmagic Design’s newly launched DaVinci Resolve 17. The integration drives advanced content creation workflows by giving DaVinci Resolve users direct access to the libraries housed in Xchange and by enabling full round-trip content exchanges between the MAM/PAM system and DaVinci Resolve.

Xchange is Primestream’s flagship, enterprise-ready, web-based asset management platform that offers single and multisite operations global access to their content and workflows. Using the DaVinci Resolve workflow integration SDK, Primestream has developed an Xchange Creative Panel for Resolve that enables content editors to perform several key content management tasks without leaving their familiar DaVinci Resolve environment. Users can search for media and projects held in Xchange. They can also import media, with markers and subclips, from Xchange to DaVinci Resolve, and they can export a media sequence from DaVinci Resolve and register it to Xchange.
