Touit 2.8/12 Wide-Angle Lens – Angle View of 99 Degrees

Thanks to the combination of one of the widest fields of view in APS-C format photography with fantastic imaging performance and light weight, this lens makes wide-angle photography even more fascinating.

With an angle of view of 99 degrees, the Touit 2.8/12 wide-angle lens will soon become a firm favorite, particularly for landscapes and architectural photography. Its unique T* multi-coating guarantees maximum transmission and outstanding absorption of extraneous light. The result: breathtaking image quality from edge to edge and corner to corner of the entire image field. What’s more, all moving parts of the Touit 2.8/12, conceived specifically for Sony NEX and Fujifilm X Series cameras, are engineered for extreme precision and a long working life. And finally, its strong and rigid metal bayonet mount makes it an absolutely dependable companion for many years to come.

Please note: There are currently two versions of the new Touit lenses on the market. The front retaining ring of one version shows the name ‘ZEISS’, and the other ‘Carl Zeiss’. Apart from the different naming conventions, the lenses are absolutely identical in construction and offer the same superior quality. The front retaining rings of all future product families will show only the brand name ‘ZEISS’ and no longer the full name ‘Carl Zeiss’ that has been used up until now.

Carl Zeiss AG will be exhibiting at the upcoming IBC2013, September 12 – 17, RAI Amsterdam. Drop by the Carl Zeiss AG stand # 11.F58.
