NTP Technology to Show New IP Audio Routing System and Penta 720 3G/HD/SD

Highlights of NTP Technology’s exhibit at IBC will be the latest addition to its range of products for IP network audio routing. The company will also demonstrate new advances for routing embedded audio in a video SDI/HD/3G environment.

New: World’s first IP audio routing system for routing across multiple Ethernet Layer 3 subnets

NTP Technology will demonstrate the world’s first IP audio routing system for routing across multiple Ethernet Layer 3 subnets. This incorporates NTP’s new RCCoreV4 router controller integrated with a Netspander subnet server. NTP IP audio routing provides low-latency tightly synchronised transport of uncompressed audio over Gigabit IP Ethernet Layer 3 networks using off-the-shelf switches. Audio can be routed via two or more subnets in a LAN or WAN IP Ethernet environment with complete control of matrix connections on a logical channel-to-channel basis. A total of 512 channels can be routed on a 1 Gigabit network. With a 10 Gigabit core network, the channel count can be more than 5,000.

New: NTP Technology Penta 720 modular audio interface with SDI/HD-SDI/3G embedding/de-embedding

Shown in prototype at IBC2012 and now deliverable, NTP Technology’s Penta 720 is a 2U modular audio interface which provides embedded audio inputs/outputs via video SDI/HD/3G plus analog-to-digital/digital-to-analog conversion. Designed for use in television studios, post-production houses, presentation and playout facilities or outside broadcast vehicles, it incorporates eight AES3, three MADI, two IP audio Ethernet in/outs plus an Avid Pro Tools interface. The Penta 720 includes a 1024 x 1024 switching matrix and is able to route all audio I/O via all the digital interfaces in any combination. It is fully equipped for audio over IP using the NTP IP audio protocol. Up to eight optional cards plus an optional mini module can be incorporated in the Penta 720 to match specific operational requirements.

Exhibiting on stand 8.B51 at IBC2013, NTP Technology will be represented by Mikael Vest (Sale Director), Jan Lykke (Business Development Manager), Kim Vangsgaard, Jeppe Soerensen.
