Produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and held November 9-10 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, the 2016 NAB Show New York will feature an enhanced show floor with new attractions, pavilions and an expanded list of exhibiting companies.
NAB acquired Content & Communications World (CCW) in 2014, and in 2015 reintroduced it as NAB Show New York. The event, featuring SATCON (an event-within-the-event focused on satellite technology), draws more than 7,000 attendees and includes 80+ educational sessions focused on the intersection of media, entertainment and technology.
Debuting at NAB Show New York this year are multiple new experiences, some of which originated at the annual NAB Show in Las Vegas. These include VR Village, featuring advances in virtual reality technology; Connected Media|IP, a community of exhibits dedicated to exploring the continuing evolution of mobile, social and cloud services; and Innovation Lab, where entrepreneurs demonstrate innovative products and services providing critical solutions for the media industry. NAB Show New York will also feature a new Drone Pavilion, where attendees can learn about and operate the latest drone technology.
NAB Show New York will comprise 300+ exhibitors, featuring some of the world’s leading brands and companies, including Adobe, Avid, BlackMagic Design, Canon, JVC, Panasonic, and Sony, many of which are expanding their presence and bringing cutting-edge innovations to the show. First-time exhibitors include Akamai, Arista Networks, CCPIT.ECC, Draco Broadcast and IBM Cloud Video.

New for 2016, 50+ educational sessions will be held on five Inspiration Stages located throughout the show floor. Each stage will feature 30-minute sessions on topics such as New York film and television productions, live events, news, innovation investments, advanced advertising, over-the-top content, virtual reality and satellite technology. Additionally, the show floor will feature an area dedicated to networking and interacting with session speakers and panelists. Finally, the Post|Production Conference will expand with three new workshops highlighting drones, 4K and high dynamic range production.
The co-located InfoComm Connections will feature four new conferences, including The New Learning Technology Landscape; Exceptional Corporate Events; Digital Signage Summit, produced by Invidis Consulting; and Collaborate, produced by InfoComm and IMCCA. InfoComm International is the global trade association representing the commercial audiovisual and information communications industries.
