Cameras may be able to take pictures under available light, but no camera made yet can match what the human eye sees. We need to add lights to make it look the human eye sees it, to make it look natural, but to also make it look better. This workshop will go over why we still need to light and what lighting can do for the image, and thus the artistic telling of the story.

This workshop is ideal for those who wish to understand the nuances of lighting in film and television, and how it enhances the natural look while elevating the artistic narrative. Whether you’re a beginner with a keen interest in filmmaking or a professional looking to refine your skills, this workshop will provide valuable insights into why lighting is critical and how it can dramatically affect the visual interpretation of a story. Join us to learn effective lighting and take your visual storytelling to the next level.
