Annual fundraiser benefits the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab
WHAT: The 3rd annual Screen Actors Guild Foundation Poker Classic is the major fundraiser for the Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab, a SAG Foundation facility that hosts free workshops, seminars and demonstrations by leading industry experts as well as offers a fully equipped sound studio to union voice over artists to work on their craft, demos and auditions. The annual benefit is more than just a poker tournament; it is the single largest gathering of voice over artists in one location and includes an outdoor party with food, drinks, music, games and a silent auction. According to Joe Cipriano, the voice of FOX, CBS, and the Emmy and Grammy Awards, “It’s the voice over night of the year.”
