Cambridge Imaging Systems, the digital archive management specialist, is expanding its global reach with the appointment of Nick Ashwin to the role of North American Sales Manager. As part of its expansion, Cambridge Imaging Systems has also appointed the specialist U.S. distributor JB&A.

Nick Ashwin joined Cambridge Imaging Systems in 2008 in the role of Assistant Project Manager. His recent move to the U.S. facilitated his promotion to the new role of North American Sales Manager, based out of Irving, Texas. Nick is responsible for developing the market and sales channel for the company’s MAM and publishing solutions in the region.

JB&A is a leader in the field of video management solutions, including MAM, DAM, IPTV, Streaming and Digital Signage technology solutions. The company will assist Nick to build the U.S. sales channel as well as promoting and selling Cambridge Imaging Systems’ solutions.

Tom Blake, Managing Director, Cambridge Imaging Systems, said, “When entering a new market it is vital to have enough resource and capacity in place to provide local support, both to customers and the sales channel. With our reputation for taking the time to prepare and do things properly, we are confident that Nick and the JB&A team are well placed to serve the U.S. market.”

Cambridge Imaging Systems will be on Stand SL14913 at NAB 2013 to present the U.S. launch of ImagenCloud, a complete cloud-based MAM and publishing system that can be used for ingesting, archiving and distributing large quantities of video, stills, audio and documents in a themed web interface. It will also demonstrate Imagen2, the flagship MAM and publishing system that was developed to manage very large collections of media files for libraries and museums, commercial clip libraries, photo, sound and film collections.
