Ideal for Education and Enterprise, Kits Provide Increased Bandwidth and Faster Data Transfer Speeds, Up to 5Gbps, at Lengths Up to 33 Feet
DAYTON, Ohio — Dec. 14, 2021 — C2G is now offering USB-C Extender Transmitter to Receiver Kits for classrooms, conference rooms, and huddle spaces needing an innovatively simple yet powerful solution for extending USB signals beyond their native 16.4-foot length limitation.
“Almost every laptop and mobile device available now utilizes at least one USB-C port, making USB-C near ubiquitous in education and corporate applications,” said Jennifer Crotinger, product Manager, C2G, a brand of Legrand. “However, users often need that signal to go much farther than USB-C allows. Our new kits provide a high-quality, easy-to-install solution.”
The C2G 1-Port USB-C Extender Transmitter to Receiver Kits provide increased bandwidth and faster data transfer speeds, up to 5Gbps, at lengths up to 33 feet. The solution offers bus power with optional 5V 3A DC input (not included). Completely plug and play, no software or drivers are required, ensuring quick, easy, and reliable installation. AV professionals and tech staff can reduce cable clutter by running the included 33-feet link cable between connections. The kits are available in two models: C2G54278 and the plenum-rated C2G54279. C2G also offers a full line of HDMI® HDBaseT products that complement extenders.
C2G’s USB-C Extender Transmitter to Receiver Kits are available through retailers and direct to users from C2G.

When you need reliable connections, be sure to turn to C2G and our high-performance cabling and connectivity solutions. We’ve grown into respectable players in the IT and AV industries, though we still retain our scrappy vibe from the early days. And we’re not above having the occasional mascot. (We miss you, Cable Guy and Captain Connector!)
That’s what you get with C2G – an incredible focus on delivering unique, value-added solutions along with a singular commitment to creating lasting, dependable partnerships. It’s not unheard of for executives to be seen repackaging products in shipping or for a sales rep to hand deliver a rush order when unusual circumstances arise. We’ve been that way since our founders ditched their 1984 Salem mall PC resell store in Ohio to focus on expanding the custom cables, they made in the back that were selling like hotcakes.
We use premium components and the latest technologies to keep pace with the fast-moving changes in AV technology. Quality is so important to us; we have our own manufacturing plant to ensure our products meet our demanding expectations. We put our cable performance second to none and make sure we comply with industry specifications across RoHS, R.E.A.C.H. and WEEE. Check out our 7,000+ stocked solutions or ask about custom kits. Seriously, let’s get connected.
