The American Society of Cinematographers Presents An Afternoon of Horror, Thursday, February 21, 2013, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

With Featured Guest Speakers Michael Goi, ASC; Daniel Pearl, ASC; and Dean Cundey, ASC

Join us for coffee and conversation at the historic ASC Clubhouse in Hollywood. Doors will open at 2 p.m. to give attendees an opportunity to enjoy warm conversation over hot cups of coffee before ASC members Michael Goi, Daniel Pearl and Dean Cundey dive into a bone-chilling conversation about the changing face of horror cinematography. Pearl was behind the camera on both the original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) and its remake (2003); Cundey’s numerous credits in the genre include Halloween (1978) and its first sequel, Halloween II (1981); and Goi has turned his lens on all manners of evil, ranging from Hellmaster (1992) to the series American Horror Story. The cinematographers will screen selected scenes from their work and discuss their creative approach.

Advance tickets are available in the ASC Online Store for $35, with a special discounted rate of $20 for Friends of the ASC and Associate Members of the ASC.

Tickets are first-come, first-serve; if seats are still available on the afternoon of the event, tickets will be sold at the door for $40.

Purchase tickets at www.theasc.com.

There will be no on-site or validated parking.
