JonyJib motorized pan and tilt heads provide full 360 degree plus, smooth pans and tilts for your camera. The proportional, joystick fitted controller mounts to the jib’s rear control bar, tripod handle or can sit on a desktop. It has speed and ramping control knobs. The speed knob controls the overall speed of the motors. The ramping knob can be turned to multiple degrees of sensitivity for ultimate responsive stick or the unit can slowly or quickly ramp up and down your stick commands. Just set it to your liking or your application.
This unit is also equipped with two motor direction switches. This easily adjusts the joystick preferences, using the hand movements, you are the most comfortable with. Each pan & tilt axle is hollow, so you can run your cables through them if you like. This MotorHeadHD unit carries cameras up to 35 lbs. and comes with a 1/4-20 adjustable knob bolt for mounting your camera. Jib or bracket mounting is via a single 3/8″ bolt and knob. This unit can be oriented in either underslung or overslung mode. It utilizes the same controller as its little brother, the MotorHeadHD Mini which carries loads up to 10 lbs.
Balancing your camera can be a challenge on some heads. JonyJib added two features to help in balancing. A metric scale is attached to the tilt bracket with reference numbers, so you can note the vertical position of each of your cameras. To adjust the vertical height of the platform just turn the knurled knob and your camera raises or lowers with precision along the scale.
Each axis spins on quad needle bearings for both radial and axial support. This gives the head maximum fluidity under any conditions.
JonyJib also opened up the frame so the head is more aerodynamic which makes it easier and safer to operate in windy conditions.
