AIMS and AES Partner to Bring Media-Over-IP Pavilion Back to AES New York 2023

Exhibits and Presentations Will Address Professional Media Networking and Standards, With Focus on IPMX and Specifications in the AIMS Roadmap

BOTHELL, Wash. — Oct. 19, 2023 — The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) today announced it is again partnering with the Audio Engineering Society (AES) to bring the Media-Over-IP Pavilion to AES New York 2023, being held Oct. 25-27 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Through exhibits and presentations taking place over the three-day event, the Media-Over-IP Pavilion will serve to promote and educate the broadcast and pro AV industries about media networking open standards.

Located in hall 3E, the Media-Over-IP Pavilion will address all professional media networking topics, with particular emphasis on the IPMX standard, specifications outlined in the AIMS roadmap, and case study presentations. Its focal point will be the Media-Over-IP Pavilion Theater, which will host a continuous program of 30-minute presentations — open to all AES attendees — covering the latest developments in this constantly evolving field.

“Following a very successful event last year, we’re pleased to be partnering with AES once again to bring the popular Media-Over-IP Pavilion to AES New York,” said Terry Holton, chairman of the AIMS Audio Working Group. “Many of the leading media networking experts will be sharing their expertise and insights in the Media-Over-IP Pavilion Theater. For attendees of both AES and NAB Show New York, it’s a fantastic opportunity to become better informed about many different aspects of this field.”

AES New York 2023 will be colocated with the 2023 NAB Show New York, also taking place at the Javits Convention Center. More information about the Media-Over-IP Pavilion and the presentation schedule for the Media-Over-IP Pavilion Theater is available here. Visit AIMS at AES New York in booth MO2.
