WPPI 2017 Adds More Than 30 New Speakers To Its Extensive Programming Lineup

First Time Presenters Including, Tomayia Colvin, Selena Rollason, David Bastianoni, Vicky Papas Vergara, Salvatore Dimino, and Dan O’Day Bring Real World Education from Around the Globe

The Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) Conference and Expo (February 5-9, 2017) offers the most progressive form of photographic education outside a formal classroom in the world. The annual conference, scheduled for February 5-9, 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, continues to provide new educational classes, programs, and seminars to help today’s wedding and portrait photographers succeed in an ever-changing business climate. This year, more than 30 world renowned photographers and educators will make their debut at WPPI and share their knowledge as the world’s leading experts in their fields through a variety of new conference courses including Platform and Master Classes, as well as an extensive series of PLUS (25) and Photo Walk Classes (50). Attendees will enjoy an energized program featuring more new speakers than ever before including Dan O’Day, Salvatore Dimino, Tomayia Colvin, Selena Rollason, David Bastianoni, and Vicky Papas Vergara, to name a few.

The lineup of classes and seminars will cover new topics and offer a fresh approach essential to building a strong foundation for a career as a wedding and portrait photographer. In all, more than 100 classes, seminars, and photo walks will cover virtually every creative, technical, and business topic necessary to start, maintain, and grow a successful business. New techniques in lighting, posing, portraits, business, and selling are only a few of the areas attendees can expect to find among the expansive class selections at this year’s conference.

“The Photography business is an ever-changing market and we work hard to bring photographers and educators who are at the forefront of our industry to share their knowledge and insight about our industry today,” explains Jason Groupp, WPPI Director of Education and Membership. “WPPI is a unique, ‘cyclical community’ where attendees who come to learn for the first time, ultimately return each year to share their newfound knowledge with others. We are fortunate to have a community so dedicated to sharing and we are proud to foster these efforts through our educational programming.”

The following classes represent a small sampling of new and innovative classes offered during this year’s WPPI Conference by first-time instructors.  For a complete listing of all seminars, classes and intense workshops, visit WPPIonline.com.
