Students say they’ve found their tribe at Cogswell College – the creative arts college in the heart of Silicon Valley.

In an all-inclusive, collaborative environment, Cogswell delivers an intense focus on developing undergrads for jobs in high-demand creative arts industries through project-based learning. Cogswell stands out as a creative arts college by offering true studio environments that feature professional-level equipment, multi-disciplinary collaboration and industry expert instruction, coaching and mentoring. Cogswell prepares students for the real world by giving them real-world experience through a project-based learning approach while they’re still in school.

Students in the school’s Project X studio, for instance, come together from multiple disciplines to create professional-grade animated films. In the MediaWorks studio, the students complete video and animated shorts for Silicon Valley companies.

At Cogswell College, “work hard, play hard,” is easy, because work and play are one and the same. It’s about training and development of talent. And it’s about creating the best job calling card of all: an impressive portfolio.

Cogswell grads earn jobs at signature companies, such as Disney, DreamWorks, Blizzard Entertainment, Pixar, Microsoft and Apple.

They have engraved their names on Hollywood movies such as Big Hero 6, Godzilla, Frozen, The Avengers, Toy Story 3 and How to Train Your Dragon.
